Charging Wolf

People have heard so many doomsday scenarios and humanity has produced so many fear mongers that "we" are now numb to the boy crying wolf from the hilltop. This time the wolf is real; the wolf is climate catastrophe and it cometh with unsurvivable force. If only "our" pretending to be "safe" could make us safe! I'm daily wracked with a layer of fear: our future of food and water scarcity combined with increasingly unnatural and dangerous (for the earth life) weather will be an ugly way to die...it wasn't what I'd had in mind. That is to say, each day is a matter of mastering the bravery that it takes to live bold love and honesty, even knowing that the wolf is charging at my children.
